Wirral Fundraising Trio host annual Ambassadors Ball

    Wirral fundraising supremo’s Mandy Molby, Claire Gallagher and Trudi Brooks, hosted their annual Ambassadors Ball at Thornton Hall Hotel, to raise funds for various regional good causes.

    The glamorous black tie ball, supported by Durastic Flooring, Integral, The Christmas Decorators, Hallmark jewellers and Radio City’s Cash for Kids, was hosted by Peter Price. Over 350 Guests were welcomed with a Champagne Reception, followed by a sumptuous four course dinner.

    Entertainment included performances from the sensational dance troop Boogie Storm, with Cliff Jenkinson getting the party going with a set of popular classics. To round the night off legendary DJ Charlie C kept the music flowing with a selection of floor fillers until the early hours.

    The event raised a staggering £143,500 for the nominated charities and The Ambassadors are delighted that the event is set to fund the Claire House children’s Christmas party along with a Christmas party for 1,000 children organised by Variety The Children’s Charity.

    Celebrated artist Mackenzie Thorpe donated 15 limited edition prints, the sale of which will be used to provide 5 wheelchairs for those in desperate need.

    Pete Price showcased his exceptional auctioneering skills, ably assisted by Jan Molby, with some amazing auction prizes including:- 7 nights in the Seychelles at the Constance Resort, A Philip Armstrong dress worth £1,000, A Judge Rinder meet and greet at a recording, Michael Ball and Alfie Beau meet and greets, Dinner for 10 at Panoramic, LFC tickets and corporate hospitality for a match of choice, 2 VIP tickets for the semi-final and final of the World Boxing Super Series. 2 Tickets for Strictly Come Dancing for the finals of the next series.

    Mandy Molby, Ambassador, said “The generosity of the guests, sponsors and prize donators has been absolutely overwhelming tonight and we genuinely do not have enough words of thanks for those who have supported us. The hard work and generosity shown tonight will ensure that we can continue our work improving the lives of those who are vulnerable, less fortunate, or in desperate need”.
