Winners honoured at the 2019 Wirral Life Awards!

More than 700 people attended the glittering Wirral Life Awards 2019 last Friday night (8th November 2019) which took place at Thornton Manor, Thornton Hough.

Hosted by the legendary British actor Brian Blessed, prizes were awarded in 26 categories during the ceremony, which celebrates the inspirational people and businesses in the local area. It was sponsored by Westminster Associates along with associate sponsors Revolution Four and H.R Owen Lamborghini.

Special accolades were bestowed for the Pride of Wirral, Lifetime Achievement which went to OMD co-founder, singer and musician Andy McCluskey, while Wirral Council were awarded special recognition for their work during their Borough of Culture year. The 2019 Platinum award went to artist Emma Rodgers.

Wirral Life magazine has been celebrating the best of the local lifestyle since 2016 and has been championing the businesses and individuals who make the local area such a vibrant place to live, work and visit.

Nicky Rigby-Smith and Si Hall, Editors at Wirral Life Magazine said: “We were delighted to host the Wirral Life Awards for the second year running. The Ginsmiths of Liverpool and Love Lane Brewing sponsored the drinks reception, Ultimate Parties sponsored the balloons, Cheeky Chilli provided catering and ASG Entertainments provided the AV. Maddison J Creations decorated the room.

The Wirral Life Awards 2020 have been confirmed and will take place on Friday 6th November 2020.
