Jayne O’Gorman, Managing Director of the luxury Chester-based Tour Operator Azure, welcomed guests to an amazing Charity Luncheon at Elixir in her home village of Oxton. In aid of Amy and Friends, the event on Wednesday 9th March was a total sell out, playing host to 80 guests!
Jayne was joined by sponsors from One&Only Hotels and Resorts and Carlisle Bay, Antigua to present an auction of stellar lots and wonderful raffle prizes. A fantastic £8,700 was raised for the Charity.
Jayne said “I am elated by the kindness and generosity of everyone who attended. Amy and Friends is a very deserving charity that needs more recognition for the work they do and I’m delighted to be able to help them in this way. If I can just make one more person aware of the charity, then that’s a step in the right direction. I would also like to say thank you to everyone who supported the event and those who generously donated raffle prizes. A special thank you to Elixir and all their staff for the fabulous food and for making the event such a huge success.”
