Bollywood Ball

Bollywood came to Liverpool on Friday 10th February for the Liverpool Heartbeat Annual Charity Ball.

Over 180 guests were joined by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool and representatives from Liverpool Heartbeat. The evening began with a video welcome speech from Robin Baynes MBE who was away on holiday in Australia.

The evening continued with colourful dancing from the Hindu Society of Liverpool University. A fashion show was provided by the award winning Imani Fashion House of Manchester showcasing day and evening wear plus wedding outfits. A fabulous meal was catered and served by Liverpool’s premier Indian restaurant the Mayur of Duke Street Liverpool. Guests danced until the early hours to the music supplied by Karma Events.

A silent auction and raffle raised over £3000 on the night, monies raised were shared between Liverpool Heartbeat and the Lord Mayor’s four Charities: Tom Harrison House, R Charity, Claire House Childrens Hospice and Liverpool Heartbeat.
